Ongoing maintenance via annual implant checks is important for the long term health and success of your implants. Regular checks can help with early detection of issues such as gum disease (peri-implantitis), as well as assessing the health of componentry.

Single Tooth Implants
A single tooth implant is the most advanced and durable replacement solution for a single missing tooth. Simple, quick and affordable, it offers a significant benefit over conventional options (dentures and bridges) because it functions completely independently, stimulating the jawbone to prevent bone loss, maintaining the integrity and health of adjacent natural teeth by avoiding the need to grind them down, and providing superior, life-like aesthetics, stability, and longevity.
In the right situations, a tooth can be removed, an implant placed and a crown can go on top all in the same appointment; this is called immediate placement with immediate loading of implants.
Implant Bridges
An implant bridge is a fixed dental restoration that replaces a segment of missing teeth by anchoring a prosthetic bridge onto two or more dental implants. This options provides unmatched stability for comfortable function, and ensures the surrounding healthy teeth are preserved and remain untouched.
Full Mouth Implants
Full arch implant treatment is a transformative and permanent solution for patients missing all or most teeth in a jaw, involving the strategic placement of as few as four dental implants into the bone, which serve as secure, non-removable anchors for an entire, custom-designed, fixed bridge of prosthetic teeth, thereby restoring complete function, preventing jawbone deterioration, and offering an incredibly natural-looking and durable smile that eliminates the need for traditional removable dentures. Often termed "teeth in a day", you can expect to walk out with a full set of teeth on the same day as the implant placements
Implant Retained Dentures
Implant-retained denture treatment is a hybrid dental solution where a full or partial removable prosthetic arch is securely anchored to a minimal number of surgically placed dental implants, utilizing "snap-on" attachments that provide superior stability, prevent the slippage common with traditional dentures, and stimulate the jawbone to minimize bone loss, while still allowing the patient to easily remove the restoration for nightly cleaning.
Implant Repairs
For the vast majority of patients, once an implant has been placed and the prosthesis screwed on top, there is very little maintenance. However, for those unlucky few who develop complications it can be a scary situation as not every implant dentist deals with complications. Situations such as broken screws, fractured implants, or gum disease around implants can really build up the stress levels of you, the patient, as well as your general dentist. With over 150 brands of dental implant, each with their customised designs, screws and componentry, it can be difficult to source the correct tools required for repairs which can put off some dentists.
